Features
-
Migration Control Panel:
- Customizable and configurable dashlets: Any number of dashlets can be added to the dashboard. We have provided a list of predefined dashlets that clients usually require, however, a client can ask for additional dashlets to be added based on their needs and requirements.
- Powerful backend capabilities: The dashboard’s backend is a flexible and configurable data-retrieving engine, which is capable of retrieving data from any source via direct access or using Rest APIs. It also includes a business transformation layer which would accommodate complex and custom business requirements.
- Details drill-down feature: Clickable-charts allow users to drill-down and retrieve the chart’s underlying data. This drill-down can have multiple levels, providing users with a thorough and detailed data analysis tool.
- Modern and professional charts: Our dashboard includes all types of charts, with advanced features and in a modern and professional look and feel.
-
Migration Dashboard:
- Initiate and halt migration processes.
- Initiate and halt migration processes.
- Real-time viewer of migration logs and messages.
- Monitor servers’ resource utilization.
- Real-time statistics and counters.
-
Migration Control Panel:
- Support for Various Source Systems: Assertgin can migrate data from any system into Alfresco, having successfully handled migrations from platforms such as Documentum, Oracle UCM, SharePoint, FileNet, and document hierarchies stored locally or in object storage (e.g., S3).
- Mapping and Migration of Folder Hierarchies, Metadata Properties, and Security Matrix: Assertgin is equipped to map source hierarchies to an Alfresco folder structure, translate source metadata properties to an Alfresco Content Model, and adapt source security matrices (permissions, roles, etc.) to Alfresco’s security framework.
- Migration of Alfresco Process Services / Activiti Processes: Assertgin facilitates the migration of processes between different APS/Activiti installations and can upgrade processes from older model versions to the current version within the same installation. It is also capable of migrating processes from other BPM/workflow engines to APS/Activiti.
- Support for Various Source and Target Systems: Assertgin can migrate data between multiple systems or databases to the target system or database.
- Mappings: The Mapping component of Assertgin is a configurable and flexible business layer that enables the mapping of data fields and attributes between the source systems and the target.
- Custom Operations/Logic: Assertgin provides extension points that allow for the implementation of custom business logic and operations during the migration process.
- Auditing and Tracing: Assertgin maintains an audit record for every operation in the migration process. These records enable tracing and counting of each individual data item from source to target.
- Reporting: Assertgin features a flexible and dynamic Report Generator component that can produce client-defined reports tailored to their specific migration needs.
